The Association of the Paralyzed of France and the City of Yutz have established a partnership for the creation of the 1st festival associating humor and the situation of handicap. Thanks to humor and laughter, the festival breaks conventions and mixes audiences.
And, for the first edition of a comedy festival in Lorraine, there could only be one Lorrainer to sponsor it, and not just anyone: Claude Vanony!
You can also attend Eric Antoine’s new show « Myst’Éric », where the artist mixes more than ever in his own way humor, illusion/prestidigitation, dance, psychology… Besides, « what is what magic? is the theme question of this new “conference show”.
For the occasion, the festival takes over the two performance halls, the amphY and the Salle Bestien. In all, no less than 15 artists and companies have mobilized around disability: the Baladins du Val Sierckois, the Philodart, the Clownoglu, Laurent Violet, Serge Van Brakel, Régis Cunin, Vivette Mercury, Ars’n, Christophe Thisong, Luzerne & Hermann Ducs et Cie, Patrice Albert, les Derniers cris and the APEI theater in Thionville.
Why such a festival?
The desire to reach the general public and make them aware of the world of disability is one of the main leitmotifs of the APF. However, disability will not be present in all performances. This open and complete festival wishes to bring together audiences of all kinds and allow able-bodied and disabled people to enjoy a moment of joy, all together.
